TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That will round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
